You might think there are too many details to pay attention to when doing a MMS/CD protocol. Well, I’m not gonna lie to you, there are some details involved. But let me tell you two key points if you want to get well using MMS/CD. These points are of utmost importance and these two points, believe it or not, are where those who fail usually mess up.
Number One: You gotta be constant (it is better to do less drops consistently every hour for 8-10 hours than to do a lot all at once. Be diligent to take your dose consecutively every hour on the hour. A fundamental principle of MMS is that hitting the pathogens every hour does not give pathogens time to regroup and build back up, but instead, being constantly hit without a chance to regroup, they die off.
You may find you can only handle 1 drop an hour, even though last year you did 3 drops an hour with no problem. Why is this? Our bodies change; different types of pathogens or toxins, or different amounts of pathogens or toxins may contribute to varied reactions. Any number of circumstances and conditions may have bearing on how much MMS/CD you can tolerate.
But remember, the key is consistency. If you have to reduce your dose, due to feeling nauseous or getting loose bowels, reduce, but DO NOT quit. Keep it up on an hourly basis. Keep in mind, it is not a race to see how much MMS/CD you can take. We have had some people with advanced cancers get well on only 1-drop doses of MMS/CD each hour, and some on even less, a 1/4 or 1/2 drop dose–but they were consistent taking their drops every hour for 8 to 10 hours a day. So again, consistency is key. Stick to it.
Number Two: Another key point is take notice of what might be canceling out the MMS/CD. I’ve put guidelines in my book, see page 56, and Chapter 8 in the MMS Health Recovery Guidebook, on what things cancel out MMS/CD. Start there, and if you are not getting results take a look at what you might be doing that is cancelling out chlorine dioxide in your body.
Look at your diet and consider what may need to be eliminated, or take note of what other factor may be involved. For example, the general rule for those who drink coffee or tea is to separate these drinks out from your dose by 2 hours. This could mean you drink your coffee at breakfast, and then wait two hours before you start your dosing hours. This has worked for many through the years, but if you are not seeing results, you might want to cut the coffee and all caffeine drinks out all together for the time you are on a protocol.
Drinks and foods have what is called a half-life and for some, depending on their condition and what is going on in their body this could have bearing on getting well. “Separating out” for one or two hours may not be enough. So pay attention and listen to your body.
The main point I am saying here, is be consistent with hourly dosing, and pay attention to what could be cancelling out MMS. If you are not getting results, change something, adjust your diet, increase your dose, add on a Supporting Protocol and so on. The details are all in the book. (MMS Health Recovery Guidebook)
Note: In the context of food and drinks, half-life (specifically biological half-life) refers to the time it takes for your body to metabolize, break down, or eliminate half of a consumed substance, such as caffeine, alcohol, or nutrients.
It describes how long a substance remains active in your system before being filtered out by the liver or kidneys. For example, if a substance has a 5-hour half-life, 50% is gone in 5 hours, 75% in 10 hours, and so on.
A substance’s half-life can differ based on age, metabolism, liver function, and genetics.
More is Not Always Better
/by Jim Humble (1932-2023)In my books, there are times when one might need to take larger doses of MMS/CD. In Protocol 2000, for example you’ll find maximum dosage amounts. Some might take this to mean the more MMS one takes the better. But this is NOT necessarily so! More is not necessarily better, you need to listen to your body!
Always remember, it is imperative to follow the Three Golden Rules of MMS. Your own body will tell you what your personal ideal dose is. Most people will never get up to anywhere near the maximum dosage amounts. These are maximum amounts—they are not a goal. Such amounts may be needed for some, but not for others.
Take Protocol 1000 for example, which is the basic MMS/CD protocol, which has been proven time and time again to help a variety of health conditions. This protocol suggests working up to a 3-drop dose of MMS/CD every hour. However, some people cannot get up to a 3-drop dose hourly. This is okay, and this is where the Three Golden Rules of MMS enter in.
You may be able to take a certain amount of MMS, say a 3-drop dose for Protocol 1000, for one illness. But then down the road sometime if you need to repeat Protocol 1000, you may find you can only handle 1 drop an hour, even though last year you did 3 drops an hour with no problem. Why is this? Our bodies change; different types of pathogens or toxins, or different amounts of pathogens or toxins may contribute to varied reactions. Any number of circumstances and conditions may have bearing on how much MMS you can tolerate. This is why it is so important to pay attention to the signals your body is giving you, and why I want to repeat, it is not a race to see how much MMS you can take.
Each person is different, for some people a fast track approach or higher dosing may be needed, and for others, low dosing brings results. As I have mentioned earlier, we have had some people with advanced cancers get well on only 1-drop doses of MMS each hour and low doses of MMS2, and some on even less, a 1/4 or 1/2 drop dose. Again, it is not a race, listen to your body, and always, always follow the Three Golden Rules of MMS.
Nutritional Research Information

The subject of “nutrition” in the world today, is quite subjective, with a wide range of factors weighing into this equation, such as how the food is grown, handled, stored, processed, etc. etc. In addition, we remind you that the nutritional needs of each individual can vary greatly. Whatever diet you might settle on, we do encourage you to eat real food, sustainably grown and free of additives, as much as possible.
The use of MMS has brought to light information concerning nutrition that was never suspected before. Of course, unfortunately, the absence of millions of dollars for research makes us rely on empirical data, but that is often quite reliable. It is often ridiculed by medical authorities, but they have a reason. Maybe you can guess what that is—in any case, here is some interesting nutritional information that I feel is important:
I believe that once all or most of the pathogens have been removed, the human body can sometimes generate nutritional components that are absent from the diet. Why do I think that? In a number of different situations in Africa, when it became obvious that the protocol we were using had killed most of the pathogens present, the individual quickly became very healthy with lots of energy. Their diet did not change. This happened hundreds of times. Once all the diseases in the body were killed, the person quickly became healthy, at least the doctor and all the people around us were convinced that these people were healthy. I certainly was convinced.
How could that be? The nutrition in those areas has always been considered very inferior, yet these people apparently overcame deficiencies and were obviously healthy. Keep in mind that throughout the years when nutritionalists were explaining how poor nutrition caused certain diseases, there were always some who were eating the same diet but who were healthy. No one ever really mentioned that. That data has always been ignored.
If poor nutrition always brought about poor health, then wouldn’t all the people in the area be unhealthy? It is becoming obvious to me, and hopefully researchers will check this out, that what is generally considered good nutrition is nutrition that helps prevent the growth of pathogens in the body. Of course, the healthier the body is, the healthier the immune system is, and pathogens have less chance to grow. But in addition to that, the more natural and real the foods are, the less likely it is that bacteria and other microorganisms will feed on them.
One explanation is that the body can generate the necessary nutritional components. You may ridicule that idea (as some do), but then look at the chicken. Put a chicken in an environment where there is no calcium, and feed it calcium free food, and it will produce eggs with a calcium shell until more shells have been produced than the calcium in the bones of the chicken. This has been done many times and the explanation is that the chicken changes phosphorus into calcium. Most foods have some phosphorus and meats, milk, nuts, beans, lentils and whole grains are especially high in phosphorous. There are dozens of other examples of various animals changing one element into another. Science doesn’t recognize it, but they certainly can’t explain it either.
If there is another explanation why thousands of people become healthy after the diseases in their bodies are gone, and without changing their diets, then that should be researched also.
Believing Lies
/by Jim Humble (1932-2023)It is extremely important to always realize that in terms of living and surviving in this universe it is wrong to believe lies. Believing lies can result in failure or even death.
Keep in mind that most all children are taught that it is OK to believe lies. That is the result of Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, Bugs Bunny, and there are many more lies that children are taught and told to believe and expected to believe. By the time a child is 10 years old he has been expected to believe scores of different lies. The fact is children are not that dumb. They often know a lie when they hear it, but they are expected to believe it, so life is easier and parents are simpler to get along with when the child goes ahead and believes the lies. Thus a person grows up believing many different lies, and thus it seems reasonable when that child reaches adulthood, to just go ahead and believe the lies rather than spend hours or days checking things out.
Just keep in mind that to believe lies without checking things out, can result in terrible suffering and death for millions of people each year who die from cancer and other so called incurable diseases. It’s not necessary.
Longevity Tip: Take a Nap!

It is not really apparent if humans were meant to take naps or not, but children certainly take naps naturally. I personally have taken from 20 to 45 minute daily naps during my entire life. They keep one fresh. People often worry that they will make one groggy and not able to function clearly, but once you get into the rhythm of it, it is just the opposite. Naps refresh you. Don’t try it once and get the idea it doesn’t work. Try it for a month. Many people are sleep deprived and it is not only bad for mental clarity, but it is extremely bad for health.
Winston Churchill, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Napoleon, Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison are all people who found naps refreshing and helpful. Longevity is not something that just happens. Life is fun and you can enjoy many more years if you want to. It isn’t all that hard. In fact it is easy and if you get into it, it is fun.
I used to lay under my desk on the floor with my head on a book. I slept usually 20 to 30 minutes, and then I was up and at it again (working) refreshed and active. I have been told that this makes up for getting poor sleep at night or for staying up too late. I hope you can see that a refreshing nap during the day can give the body much recovery from not enough sleep and give energy that it would not otherwise have. So will you please get used to naps? They will keep you young.

More on HCl (Stomach Acid)

Eighty years ago, back in the 1920’s and 30’s thousands of people were healed by a few doctors of many diseases including cancer. Eventually they were stopped, but there was one doctor who worked in the jungles of Mexico who had years and years of experience using dilute HCl to cure most everything. He used it by mouth and by inter-muscular, and by IV.
I have been taking it by mouth in 1/2 glass of water adding 20 drops of 4% HCl and have seen so far the lesions I had on my body under my belt and other places where clothes were tight have all disappeared. The 20 drops of 4% HCl in 1/2 glass of water is about the same as stomach acid. Anyway I have had some positive results.
Just by adding tiny amounts of HCl, great changes were made. When you don’t have enough stomach acid you slowly can become malnourished by not getting the exact nutrients you need. Elderly people do not generate enough HCl and many younger people do not as well. HCl is not the same as nutrients. It is not a nutrient. But the absence of HCl in your stomach can keep you from getting the nutrients you need for healing (because you are not digesting properly and unable to absorb the necessary nutrients from food). Heart burn, you probably know is a deficiency of HCl and so is acid reflux disease—it is caused by not enough acid, instead of too much.
Health Recovery Plan (HRP)

Every week at least one new person approaches me with the question asking if MMS/CD will help them overcome some new disease. It is important to know that MMS/CD is a oxidizer that fits into the operation of the body in the exact right chemical balance to kill diseases and their poisons and heavy metals. Drugs must somehow attack the nucleus of the disease in order to kill it and they often never do the job, but the chlorine dioxide oxidizer just attacks the pathogen. Pathogens have no protection for oxidizers and no way of developing a protection. Today, there are thousands of diseases with names someone has given them and it’s nearly impossible to keep track of all of them. So I can only tell you that chlorine dioxide has a very high chance of overcoming your disease just like the rest of them. In 70 years no known disease has developed a resistance to this oxidizer.
In the MMS Health Recovery Guidebook I couldn’t possibly list every disease known to mankind. There are too many, but just the same, the MMS/CD oxidizer is effective against nearly all diseases if used correctly and consistently. Consistently is key.
It surprises people when I say, there is really only “1” MMS/CD protocol, and that is the Health Recovery Plan. I know it is hard to believe, but MMS/CD takes care of all the conditions that you mention, with the Health Recovery Plan. Buy the MMS Health Recovery Guidebook. This book is the result of feed-back from thousands and thousands of people. Get the book and follow the HRP (Health Recovery Plan). It is all there. Try it, but do it exactly as the protocols are given in the book. Those protocols were developed after receiving back thousands of emails and data from thousands of cases.
Follow the Health Recovery Plan for whatever the problem is. Study Chapter 5 and get the real concept of the Health Recovery Plan, then follow it and you have a good chance of helping your loved one recover. This plan guides one to know how to add on additional protocols or procedures if and when needed. Nearly all diseases and health problems can be remedied with chlorine dioxide (MMS) by following the instructions in the Guidebook.

Importance of Stomach Acid
/by Jim Humble (1932-2023)You have heard it said, “You are what you eat”, but in my opinion, it’s more accurate to say “You are what you absorb.”
Stomach acid plays an important role in what nutrients you absorb from the food you eat. When someone is deficient in stomach acid the vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other nutrients do not get digested out of the food properly and especially for the eyes which require higher quality nutrients.
You can buy Betaine HCl Capsules from most health food stores which create stomach acid when they reach the water in the stomach. You can take from 1 to 5 capsules immediately after meals or during meals to aid digestion. If you ever get “heart burn” this indicates there is not enough stomach acid or if the capsules give you heart burn this may indicate you need more capsules.
Another option is to buy some liquid 4% HCl acid (hydrochloric acid, which is what your stomach acid is) and after each meal add 20 to 30 drops to 1/2 cup of water and drink it for digestion.

Clarification of MMS Terms

MMS is the general acronym term used throughout the world to indicate many of the different uses of a solution of sodium chlorite in water. Sodium chlorite is a mineral/chemical, that when mixed with a food grade acid generates chlorine dioxide. Chlorine dioxide kills diseases inside and outside of the human body, and, it is chlorine dioxide which is the active ingredient used in most of our protocols.
So, the question is sometimes posed: What is MMS? Is it sodium chlorite? Or is it chlorine dioxide? The answer is: It is both! As I said above, the term MMS is often used as a generic term to describe what I have called Miracle Mineral Solution in the past, and what I now call the Master Mineral Solution. In this context one might say, “Well, it’s the mineral solution, therefore it’s chlorine dioxide.” Yes, but then again, a 22.4% solution of sodium chlorite is also usually sold by the name of MMS, and is called MMS in this, and other books and websites.
In our books, and as noted above in the definition list, we refer to MMS as a 22.4% solution of sodium chlorite in water, and use the acronym MMS1 to indicate that a food acid has been added to MMS which generates a chlorine dioxide solution. Technically MMS is sodium chlorite (a 22.4% solution in water), and MMS1 is MMS plus an activator, which produces chlorine dioxide. However, in every day talk both are often simply called MMS. One might say, “It’s time for my MMS dose”, (meaning their activated MMS drops in water), or “Hand me the MMS so I can mix up my dose”, meaning hand me the bottle of 22.4% sodium chlorite solution which will then be mixed with food grade acid to produce chlorine dioxide. Or, taking it further, one might say, “I have to order some MMS”, which is likely to mean he/she will order a bottle of sodium chlorite 22.4%, plus a bottle of food grade acid.
There are some who refer to MMS simply as “CD” for chlorine dioxide [which it is]. I am going into this lengthy explanation, not with the intent to confuse, but hopefully to clarify, because the term MMS has gone far and wide and is used around the world in this general way—in my opinion, there is no stopping it. I have concluded we simply have to go with the flow.
Think of it like this—I often liken MMS to the generic term for coffee. One might say they like to drink coffee. But the question is raised: What type of coffee? After all, there are many types and variations of coffee and ways to make it. There is drip/filter coffee, coffee made from a French press, or a percolator or in an espresso machine, or the quick and easy instant coffee. There are a variety of coffee beans and even more varieties of coffee blends. There are all types of ways to prepare and drink coffee. One might like a Cappuccino, another a Mocha Late, another a simple Espresso, an Americano, Turkish Coffee, Irish Coffee, Vienna Coffee, Café Cubano, Caffe Latte, or a good ol’ cup of Juan Valdez. The point is, often when referring to all these and many more variations of coffee, if you were going out with friends, you would be likely to say, “Let’s go for coffee”, but when you get to the coffee shop a variety of coffee would be ordered. In this sense, coffee is a broad term and the same can be said for the term, MMS.
So, when it comes to mixing up doses of MMS and using it for restoring one’s health according to this book, please diligently follow the terms for MMS as listed in the definitions above (see pages 5-8 in the MMS Health Recovery Guidebook) and know that when speaking in general terms, the acronym MMS is used in a variety of ways.
